After spending so much time in Astoria, we really didn't have much time to see much else that day. I'm not sure what we missed, but we took every side road that was as close to the coast as possible. Problem was, it was getting dark.
Luckily, we were able to see Cannon Beach at sunset. I took this from an illegal point in the road mind you. Yeah, I live on the edge. After this, we didn't really stop until we got into Lincoln City. We drove some pretty windy roads along the coast, but it was too dark to see anything. I was seriously so bummed.
I'm not even going to read or research what we missed, I've decided to just let it go.
