remember how we went to the zoo for the morning?

well, these crazies decided to go to Disneyland for the night.

here we are on the trolley, the husband is pretty excited.

it's the happiest place on earth right?

wrong.

still wrong.

very wrong.

it only got worse on "it's a small world." she screamed for the majority of the ride.  the husband is trying to show his mean face.  see the slight curl of lip and nose?  yes people, this is his "mean" face.

it's pretty ruthless.  a couple people have said that perhaps she was mad because "her hat was too small."

at least these two were happy!

second first visit

after a good night sleep, she was a much happier baby!

although...she did wake up a couple times during the night (which never happens at home.) so i was a little tired that morning.

the night before, i felt that it was absolutely necessary to purchase her first set of mickey ears.  then, i found these miniture ears that can be used as a headband, hair clip or key chain.  i love multi-purpose items!  i wanted to get her name embroidered...but alas, they were too small.  so instead, i will stitch her name and then, i'm going to use them as christmas ornaments.  like i said people, i love multi-purpose items.

oh splash mountain.  how we love thee.

we weren't originally planning on going to disneyland...so i feel very out of place without my disney attire.  (i'm still a little distraught over it.) otherwise i would have purchased the baby a shirt earlier.

luckily, hannah had an extra shirt for the husband and the baby had a polka dot outfit i had packed.

so, you may notice that the husband and i are wearing matching glasses.  well, that's because they are the same glasses.  i've always wanted glasses, but it seemed silly to buy some without a prescription.  luckily, hannah had some glasses which she has never worn.  so she popped out the lenses and i was good to go! because, that's not a silly solution right?

as we were driving to disneyland that morning i was wearing my new found glasses and the husband requested to wear them (what?!? who are you and what have you done with my husband?!)  he wore them around most of the day and looks quite smashing i should say.

i had never planned on taking such a little baby to disneyland, mainly because, well, i am selfish.  i didn't want to sit around while everyone else was out riding roller coasters.  well, come to find out, it's really not as bad as i thought.  because i got to hand out with my super cute baby in the happiest place on earth!

Highlighted points of Disneyland.

So many Strollers!!  It's an event in itself.
Disneyland is so efficient.  Stroller parking organization is a must.

Steamboat ride.

We went onto the Pirates Lair...which for some reason, I've never been on.
Found the loot!  This may be my favorites thing EVER.
They have a giant ant hill that has a bunch of tunnels and secret passage ways.
Yeah....we all went through for like an hour.

The mama, always a trooper.
Here's to Winnie the Pooh ride!

I've never understood why Star Wars is on the Disneyland premises, but, I do think this shirt fits me.

Every time we get on Autopia, it gets stuck...and we end up walking out of the ride, instead of rolling in.  I'm afraid, this is a thumbs down for me.

California Screamin!  We have some awesome pics of us screaming!

I don't understand this ride...you end up in hell in the end...right?

Riding the trams

Always fun.

Not riding the trams.
Not so fun.

Hippie Lego Van in Downtown Disney.
I need this.
It. even. has. a table. with. curtains.
curtains.

isn't this picture crazy?
totally looks like Woody is a little pixelated.

Derek's awesome super green jolly jacket.
Which, was such a life saver.
See, the husband walks super fast, and his wife has to take 1.5 steps for every one of his.
Makes her tired. If I do not have his hand in mind, then he's gone.
I usually wait until he noticed that he's once again, ditched me.
Which is about a mile later.
At least, this time, i had my mom, who's legs are about the same.

Did you know you could purchase any color by the pound?
Amazing.

Don't worry, it wouldn't be a great night without a possessed Harmony Photo.

Beautiful Beastie

Got up early this morning.
Mainly, to exercise, but instead I finished my nails.
But of course I put in a Disney Movie, a prince movie nonetheless.
So girly sometimes, it's weird.
But pretty sure I will take any child with a Disney Trivia Smack-down.
As long as I have my trusty siblings to be on my team that is.
Which reminds me.
I wanted to watch Disney's Hercules last night.

IT

WAS

GONE.

Breath.

Pretty sure I purchased it from the Deseret Industries.
Thinking, Thinking....Thought.
Hannah doesn't have a VCR
(kids ask you parents to show what this is)
HALI DOES.
GRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrr.
Called her up, yelled at her to bring it back.
The nerve.
All in good jest mind you.
BUT, because I had to watch Beauty and the Beast instead of "Hunkulese" (who says that in the movie quick?)
I was almost brought to tears.
Isn't is nice that Beast saves Belle from the pack of ravenous wolves who lick their lips?
Sigh, yes, I almost broke down.
After big gulps and deep breaths, I almost succombed to tears once again, after Beast yells at Belle while cleaning his wound.
I say, world, is there nothing more tender?
And that my friends is why being a girl sucks.
(I don't particularly like the word "sucks" but it fits)
It's a good thing the Husband wasn't there to laugh at me instead of tenderly embrace in this time of sorrow.
The Kona didn't even comfort me.

Disney Nerd Out.
