I was hugging the husband the other day.
Looking deeply into my eyes, he says.
"Your eyes are gray today."
Looking further into my eyes. . .
"You know the scales on trout (umm?)
Sparkly, scaley, greenish. . . "
He gets silent then, realizing that maybe that wasn't a good comparison.
