My friend, Michelle has a little girl named Naomi.
Naomi is a beautiful 4 year girl with super bouncy curls, who I really don't get to see much, since she lives in Mexico and is usually in bed when Michelle and I are out playing.
Nonetheless, I was at their house the other night.
Naomi was staring at me and said,
"You look like Mulan."
"Really?!" I say, I'm thinking that it's because of my short hair.
"How Come?"
"You have the same eyes." Naomi says.
Stunned Silence.
I am brought to tears.
My world is now complete.
A 4 year old knows that I am Asian.
