A BIG DOG
For those of you who think Kona is a big dog, I would like to introduce Emma. Emma is the beloved dog of our friends, the Greens. If you will notice the first picture, Emma is sitting and she is at least 4' sitting. (I am 5 1-1/2" tall.) While Kona is sitting she is only half as tall as Emma. The last picture is Travis and Emma. Travis is six foot something. When Emma trotts over to you, she reminds one of a galloping horse. Emma is a BIG DOG. So I hope that all of you will think twice before calling Kona a big dog. Cheers!!

Snorkeling
We finally got the photos developed from our underwater camera. Most of them were pretty worthless, but a few of them turned out alright.
I can't believe Harm didn't post this one yet. It's the coolest video she's ever made!
This is actually really funny if you can picture Harmony skipping down the stairs and staring at the ground at the same time. Also, her comment during the movie is priceless...

We're back! Note 1
Well hello.
We just got back from Maui. . . and it is much greener than Utah.
IAO Needle, pretty self explanitory
Banana TREES! I've never seen one.
Botanical Gardens. It was so pretty! I can't believe people live in a place like this.
Haleakakakakakea Volcano. It was 10000 feet up from sea level. It was kind of funny, signs said "Don't walk to fast, you might faint" or "If you feel faint sit down" . . . People need to go and visit the rockies mores
I know it's weird, but I've never SEEN a telephone booth like this, I thought they were extinct...Haha
We had to cross this viaduct to get to the waterfall below. It was an awesome short hike.
Waterfall at the end.
True Tourists
Carol and I created an awesome Molokini Mini version. (I'm signalling in the Japanese way of come here)
A view from the tunnel on Mini Molokini. The sunset and the boat that was out there constantly.
Mini Molokini (If only I was photogenic)
A Very windy road, Tom kept honking the horn, and being a very bad side driver (he does not like heights or cliffs by windy roads)
The Blow Hole. Sometimes it would shoot 70 feet in the air. It was pretty awesome.
Caution!!
We also swam with Sea Turtles. I'll get those underwater pics developed soon.
A single Banyan Tree. All the roots grow from the branches and grow into the ground . . . Weird.
Husband hates taking photos like this. Photos in general.
We had to drive over an area that had a flash flood! Good thing we upgraded to 4 wheel drive.
Ching's Pond. An Awesome area.

Remember, Remember, the 5th of November (Edited)
So Halloween is not what it used to be.
We had maybe 35 trick-o-treaters, all very cute, and only Kona dressed up. Maybe it will be more eventful when we can dress up our kids and not just Kona.
Melinda, Caleb, and Bean showed up in some awesome costumes for Winnie the Pooh (check out their blog). We played some card games and Scotland Yard, and ate candy in front of the Miller's (Sorry, they are doing lent or something)
I almost won Settlers of Catan! We stole a tradition from the Miller's, whenever we win a game we put out name in the box. Since we started that tradition I have yet to put my name in for the second time, and it stinks because I had been winning previously before then. Anyway, I almost won with the largest army, longest road, 3 victory points, laid all my points down on my turn and Viola, only 9 points. And I lost. But I did win Scrabble, which is weird because Hannah and Derek ALWAYS Win.
Derek was pretty bummed he couldn't vote this year, he even thought about driving down to Cedar to vote, but 8 hours is a long time.
We are starting a new website....Daily Kona....soon to come. . .
