Starting the Fall out Right.

Our friends invited us out for a little fun in the mountains.  Which, Bre also took most of these photos.  Someday I'm going to have to learn how my camera works on something besides Auto.

It was a perfect fall night.

We shot guns, ate some really crappy marshmallows and avoided cowpies.

Always good to go and get some fresh air.

New Mexico

I went to New Mexico the other week for this lady's wedding. For some reason most of my photos are super random and I don't even have any of her dressed up.  She looked like something right out of those fancy wedding magazines.

Our friendship began in New Mexico, so many years ago.  I find it funny that that's where she and the hubs practice their dentistry, plus I have a deep love for turquoise jewelry.  So it's a win-win situation for everyone!

Hanging out with her buddies...you'd think that in New Mexico it would be warm.  It was not.

We've been friends since the first grade.  I find this quite impressive...since I'm probably one of the worst person to keep in touch with people.

Happy Wedding Annie!

Some photos that I found from the summer.

Found these on my camera...apparently, it's been a while since I've used it.

Excited to see these guys get hitched this weekend!

New Mexico

i believe i could have lived the rest of my life in New Mexico

i love all the bright colors, turquoise and well, maybe, not all the skulls.  they were slightly pretty anyway.

baby girl and i decided to take a quick trip to visit our bestie annie.  i've known annie since we were in first grade.  it's amazing how we've kept in touch through the years!

we visited Old Town Alburquerque. there were churches, live bands, tons of shops

crazy masks

artists who carve sculptures. he also asked if we wanted a picture with it.  so we did.  i love how he took a picture with half of it being concrete.

and one of my favorite things!  STONES!  turquoise, amber, coral...all things lovely.  we looked at every one.  i love turquoise and all the natural stones.  plus it makes it even better when they are made by someone.
